Business and Consulting Expertise

Julie Ray has a passion for helping individuals and organizations grow. Her specialty is in Training and Development, assisting businesses as learning organizations. Much of Julie’s experience is in developing and delivering customized workshops, seminars or training programs for groups of five to 500.

Julie started off in sales and marketing in the hotel industry and after receiving her master’s degree began teaching an employability and life skill program for at-risk high school students. Since those beginnings, she’s been a Training Director for an educational institution and also for a non-profit organization, conducting needs analysis and training analysis, writing curriculum and courses for classroom and on-line learning, training trainers, etc.

As a consultant, Julie has a knack for building rapport quickly and understanding the client’s needs to provide the best training-related interventions with the goal of improving performance and profitability.

Community Leadership

Julie currently is a member of the Destin Chamber of Commerce and American Society of Training and Development (ASTD).

Professional Certifications and Educational Background

Julie has a Doctorate in Education from the University of North Texas with the focus on Training and Development. She also received her Master’s from UNT. Her B.A. was in Communication and Marketing at Stephen F. Austin University.
